When it comes to life changes and healthy lifestyle, I've been there, done that and got the t.shirt!
Before qualifying as a Coach and Nutrition & Weight Management Practitioner, I spent 12 years in Human Resources with British Gas/Transco, Going Places, Ashcroft Care Services as a Training Officer, Training Designer and latterly as a Human Resource Junior Partner. I always tried to stay physically active and eat what I thought was healthy, but busy schedules, working away from home and then having my children all took their toll on my health and well-being. I gained weight, became inactive and then yo-yo dieted for many years before deciding to make a change.
I went on to study a Post Graduate Certificate in Business & Personal Coaching and and then later an Advanced Diploma in Nutrition & Weight Management, Exercise to Music and Orthopeadic conditions Pilates specifically working with clients rehabilitating from sporting injuries and general orthopaedic conditions. I've loved this work so much that I have returned to University and am currenty studying a BSc (Hons) Phsyiotherapy degree!
I am passionate about Coaching my clients to achieve their goals... "your life does not get better by chance, it gets better by change"
Note: I have returned to university (2020) to study Physiotherapy to further enhance my work in rehabilitation exercise and nutriton for health.
